I didn’t want to leave my readers hanging! This is a relatively small blog, and I appreciate all of the readers who have engaged in the past few weeks, leaving comments, subscribing to my email list, becoming facebook fans, and buying products for which I am an affiliate. So THANK YOU for your help!

Here’s a report on how you did:

  • Amazon revenue generated: $4.12
  • Clickbank revenue generated: $67.65
  • New comments – 82 @ $0.25 per: $20.50 (this includes 50 comments and 5 trackbacks on my guest post at WSL)
  • New feed subscribers – 8 @ $0.50 per: $4.00
  • New facebook fans – 33 @ $0.50 per: $16.50
  • New email subscribers – 8 @ $1.00 per: $8.00
  • GRAND TOTAL – $120.77

I really wasn’t sure what to expect, but the results were great, in my opinion, especially since I don’t typically generate the clickbank and amazon revenue I had in January. So for those of you who shopped on my site – I really appreciate it!

Even though the total came in under my $250 cap, I had already negotiated and budgeted the $250 with my husband. So in addition to the $120.77 donation I’d promised based on my original post, I’ve sent an additional $129.33 to the American Red Cross, for a total of $250.  And of course, that’s being matched by my employer for a total donation of $500.

THANK YOU AGAIN for your help and support of LGM and the people of Haiti.

Thanks, Julie! I was excited it went so well, although I was secretly hoping to go back to DH and negotiate for a higher donation!

About Me

For many years, I was a typical American working mom, relying on takeout to get me through the busy evenings, and thinking about exercise but too exhausted to find the time. I ballooned from a size six to nearly a size 10 in under a year. I was fat, and I decided I was fed up. My transformation from then to now inspired friends and encouraged me to start this blog. I want other moms to know they don’t need to be satisfied with just “Looking Good (for a mom),” but that they two can make meaningful changes in their lives, health, and fitness.
