So, instead of finding a new food at the grocery store, this week, I took our new food out of our weekly share of food from the farm. We&#8217;ve been doing fruits each week, which has appealed well to my 7 year-old, but I&#8217;ve still been unsuccessful getting my carnivore 4 year-old to partake in our weekly experiment.  So this time I scoured the grocery store, looking for a new whole food that would appeal to my son&#8217;s palate.  On my third trip to my store&#8217;s organic section, I found it: Fair Trade Coral Red Jasmine Rice. I&#8217;m still trying to figure out how to get through to the 4-year-old. One of the few fruits and vegetables he&#8217;ll eat is an apple, so I thought I&#8217;d buy a Red D&#8217;Anjou Pear. Since it would look similar to an apple when cut up, I thought might actually get him to try it!
